You will get to meet new members of the Juravinski Cancer Centre, particularly the clinical trials research team.
Most times, your oncologist will remain the same, but sometimes your care will transfer to the oncologist and nurse trained in the clinical trial.
Once the trial is completed, your care will return to your original oncologist and primary care team.
Agreeing to participate or not participate in a clinical trial will not affect the quality of care your oncologist provides you.
Should you decide not to participate in a clinical trial, your decision will not affect the standard of care you receive provided by your oncologist and primary care team
