Screening: To see if the trial is right for you

Once you give informed consent, screening takes place. To ensure your safety, there are strict eligibility criteria listed in the clinical trial protocol about who can and cannot join a clinical trial. Certain tests, procedures, blood work, and assessments will be done to see if the trial is right for you. If it is a good match and you are eligible to join the trial, you will start the treatment or intervention after the screening stage.
